The ANU Phoenix Volleyball Club is a club for the promotion of the sport of volleyball for students, staff, graduates and affiliates of the ANU.
The exact date for the establishment of the club is a bit hazy, but volleyball has been played at the ANU in some form or another since its inception in the 1950s. The club is a consistent performer in ACT competitions, and includes a range of players of all levels of skill and experience due to a mix of transient university students and established local players.
The ANUVC supports teams in all levels of competitions and tournaments, including:
- Volleyball ACT Capital League Teams
- Volleyball ACT Open Division Teams
- Eastern Conference and Australian University Games Teams
- Good Neighbour Tournament
ANUVC is a club member of the ANU Sport and Recreation Association and one of the Volleyball ACT affiliated clubs.
